Default Brake lights 02 Ford Escape

Ok, so I have changed my brake bulbs, I have changed the sockets due to discoloration, my Hazzard lights work, my signal lights work and my third brake light works. I have looked in both fuse boxes and none are label for rear lights. I'm at a loss on what to do or link for or test. Please help.

Welcome to the site..

There's no sepearate fuse for the R/L stop lamps. All 3 share power distribution through F2.24 (15amp) in the CJB. If the hazards and Park lamps function the ground should be intact. Testing at the stop lamp/park connector (LG wire), with a meter or test light, brake pedal depressed, the wire is dead? All 3 lamp functions for the stop lamps,, R, L and high mount splice off of the brake pedal position switch. Hazards, off of the Electronic flasher as the power source.. Obviously same LG wire, only powered separately..
