I have a 2017 ford escape titanium.
When the parameter for the heated sterring wheel and heated seat are set to automatic and i start the vehicule with the application or the remonte start. The parameters goes to manual. So, when its cold, i start driving with a cold steering wheel and seat. Ford dont know anything about this issue and found nothing on my vehicule. Please help

 

Sometimes a safety feature is built in to prevent damage when the vehicle is unattended.
Most folks have no idea what can be destroyed if an overheated component begins to self destruct.
Some features like this can be chosen , but require a capable scan tool, the info and knowledge to apply it. You might see what your owner's manual explains or check with another dealership.
