Default Should I buy this Escape?

Hello all. I have an opportunity to purchase a 2008 Escape XLT for what I feel is a very good price. I've never owned a Ford because the company's past reputation has always concerned me. This deal seems so good, I decided to get input from actual Ford owners. It's a 2008 Escape XLT with 72,000 miles on it. The car is in immaculate condition with a clean car fax. I can own it for $4,700. I have to jump on this right?

In this article Forbes reports that Ford Escape is one of the cars that can last up to 250,000 miles. So buying it at 72K miles and regularly changing the oil you should be good. But have a mechanic to look at it too.
