ST-line Sport Tuned Suspension
Does anyone have information about the 2023 Ford Escape ST-line with the Sport Tuned Suspension?
We are looking to replace my wife's 2008 CTS with a 2023 or 2024 Ford Escape. This vehicle will mainly be driven around town with some occasional highway driving. I noticed that the ST model has a Sport Tuned Suspension (STS). I understand that the STS system will provide a more rigid ride which will make cornering more comfortable. However I am concerned about giving up ride comfort over a bumpy road when driving around town where most of our driving will be.
I also heard that an STS system helps with highway driving during windy days, any validity to this??
Any information from people that have either suspension (STS or regular) is appreciated.
Thanks

My wife and I just purchased a new 2023 Escape ST-Line Hybrid. It has four (4) driving modes.
We have 1500 miles on it already and we're extremely happy with our Escape. It gets up and goes when we need it to on the highways and in city traffic it's very comfortable. One of the cool options I really like is the Auto Brake. (Forgot what Ford calls it) It's switch is in the center console (You can also set it on the Steering Wheel Controls) and easy to get to, right next to the Parking Brake. When turned on, you can lift your foot off the Brake when you come to a stop, like a traffic light or just plain backed up traffic. It sets the brake on and when you're ready to go you just push on the excelerator as normal and go. It's very cool and it really makes a difference in heavy traffic.
I hope this helped!
