Default sunroof leak

When I bought my truck, the owner told me I would need to get a new seal for the sunroof because it was starting to leak but when I went to inquire about one, someone told me that you could not buy a seal, that it came as one piece attached to the glass. Is that correct?

Yes. My 2015 Focus SE has a very small tear in the sunroof gasket. Fortunately it’s yet to leak. At my dealership (I trust them for a number of reasons) I was told the same thing you were. Cost? Around $400! Ouch! When the leaks begin I’ll fork out the $400.....
