Sync 3 Maps Update
Can someone help me to work thru how I can update the Maps/Nav in my 2019 Ford Escape Titanium.
It has Sync 3 and the Nav Maps says it is Version NA 2.21.
I'm good with computers, can work with flash drives, etc. In the past when I tried. The biggest issue I had is, for some reason, the system in the car was taking incredibly long to do the update. And the car was shutting down (to save power).
Step by Step instructions, including how to deal with the length of time, would be most appreciated. Also, I can't believe it would take it so long to do this. I mean, it only takes a few minutes to get it all on the Flash Drive and setup.

Also I found a problem with connecting my phone. I have an iPhone 12 and in my Bluetooth I had an entry that said Ford Escape and that is what the car connected to, when I click "i" on that, I see Car Play. But now mine only wants to connect to an entry called Bluetooth. I deleted that entry and also had to delete the original Ford Escape. I got it reconnected and it gave the name Ford Escape, but it no longer shows CarPlay. Did Ford hose up they way our phones connect? Very frustrated.
