Default SYNC issues

We have a 2016 Ford Escape. One of the reason I purchased it was the SYNC system. It has worked fine until recently. It still recognizes my phone, but won't connect. It keeps showing Bluetooth Connection Error. My phone is set on Bluetooth, SYNC is selected, and all my other Bluetooth devices are picking it up. Please help, as I doubt this is still under warranty (just under 25,000 miles on the vehicle.)

Should be under warranty. 3 years/36,000 miles Bumper to Bumper warranty.

Well, unfortunately, Ford is deserting those of us with SYNC - discontinuing the services, and I'm not sure which of those, or if all of them will no longer work. And, of course, you cannot get straight answers from the company!
