Hello and thank you ahead of time .
i just got a used hitch i'm installing. I am trying to install the the tail light converter. i did not get the harness adapter version . i've been searching all over the place trying to figure out which colour wires do what (turn , stop , tail lights. Its for a 2008 escape . the main harness for the tail light has a black , violet and grey wire . i don't have a multimeter so im not able to test .it also has the so called extra harness in the bumper but i have no clu if it works . i just want to do the basic splice connection .
