I picked up the Escape from the latest recall this morning and they tell me that Ford is offering $2500 additional trade incentive along with current rebates for owners of '13 Escapes with the 1.6 EcoBoost wanting to get out of them. I guess this means that Ford is 'stepping up' a little and realizes they've got a lot of POd customers... but the trade value on the 13s is low enough already that you'll still be eating a bunch youself. They say Ford has sent letters; I haven't seen one. Expires 1/2/13 I think. FWIW...
