Default Transfer Case drain plug not there?

I have a 2012 Escape 3.0 L. I watched a video on how to change the transfer case oil and my case was not drilled and tapped for a drain plug? Has anyone else had this issue? I have the fill plug ,but no drain plug.
See pic attached.

Seems like more and more things are being designed to have the fluids sucked out as opposed to draining. That's probably the case with your transfer case.
