Just got a 2011 Escape hybrid. Drivers side sunvisor is nearly impossible to fold down or back up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Generally the visor is held in place with 3 sheet metal screws. If this is the case here remove the three screws take down the visor and attempt to lubricate the movable part with some penetrating oil and work it a little.That should take care of the problem. Some older units had an adjusting screw to control the amount of clamping, but I don't believe there is that adjustment on the later models.
