Default What is this part? (coolant)

hey all, been having a small coolant leak lately. been looking all over the internet and cant find a part name or number for this thing.. i assmue its some sort of bypass.
it is the metal cylinder with 4 screws at its base and connects to the coolant system. it is on the radiator, passenger side, near the top.
again iv looked on google, ebay (for simailar parts near it looking for a part#) and im just having no luck....

any help would be appreciated. sorry for the poor pictures...

yeah that looks like the exact part i need, Thank you very much.

so just to help me wrap my head around the concept of what this thing does.... i assume this allows coolant to flow to the trans when the trans fluid hits a certain temperature?

Not sure exactly how Ford has it designed, but flowing coolant to the trans at a given temp makes sense. Cuts down on how the radiators are designed and increases our aggravation.
