93 Escort LX & MAF TSB 96255
I have a 93 Escort LX 1900cc AT, 75000 miles.
I am aware of TSB 96255 "Mass Air Flow - Assembly Replacement", but have been unable to get free access to the text of this TSB. Purchasing a subscription is not an option for DUI.
I have seen info posted elsewhere that Ford is saying that cleaning the MAF is ineffective and that they are recommending replacement.
My question is: Does Ford have an improved MAF or are they recommending replacement with the same part that came with the vehicle?
