Driving at constant 35mph the other day and suddenly notice Tach races like trans has gone into Neutral ; Pull over to stop; place in park, shut off car and then NO ELEC at all ?? No lights, horn, radio no nothing ? Call for tow; mechanic gets in and ALL is OK ?? Elec. is there, car starts, puts in drive to move onto tow truck ? I have NO clue as to what this might have been other than asking is there some association between the Automatic Transmission linkage and something electrical ?? I have it in the shop this weekend with expected feedback from mechanic on Monday or Tuesday ? What should I look for and expect ?
