Default 98 Zx2 Brake and Clutch Pedal Soft or Mushy

I have a 98 zx2. I started noticing my clutch and brake pedal was beginning to turn mushy. On the zx2 there is no seperate reservoir for the clutch, unlike most manual transmission cars. I have a rear cylinder leak coming from my drum brakes in my rear wheels. Since the clutch and brakes rely off the master cylinder, and I am obvious taking air into the whole system from the rear brakes. I was wondering if this could be causing my clutch pedal to begin to turn soft? I can still easily put my car into all gears without any grinding. Or could there be something totally different happening happening to my clutch. I was wondering if I fixed the rear cylinder leak coming from the brakes and bleed the whole system, would these solve my problem for the clutch pedal? My car currently has about 101,000 miles on it and I don't want to replace the brakes if the clutch is going out. Thanks

Yes...if you fix the leak and bleed the system...you will fix the mushy clutch pedal.
