just put in a radio in the car with the after market face plate and the ac blows out defrost now that is the only place the ac blows won't blow anywhere else need help.

 

normally when you do something , an then you have a problem , go back to where what ever it was you done , an start looking ,
sounds like you may have streched the cable to the ac controls , careful slid the radio out an get a flashlight an look in behind it , you might get lucky an just have slid it off the lil lever it sits on.

try working the ac controls with the radio out, you should be able to see the cables move

 

On most Fords, if you lose the vacuum to the dash controls, it will default to defrost . When installing the radio, you probably pulled little plastic line to the AC controls loose There There is a fitting on the back of the AC Control unit with several small plastic lines, you probably pulled the yellow one loose. Been there, done that.
