Not sure on the off shore built units.. My first thought was 'anti 'theft' lamp, but not sure what the buttons along sides were. Any owners guide with the car?

Guess the buttons are clock sets, and the red lamp is anti theft, or I believe in the European models they call it an immobilizer.. Should glow red as the system reads/confirms the key code..

My wifes pontiac does that just as an anti-theft thing. It just randomly goes on and off as a deterent.
