Default CLOCK SPRING

HAD HEATER CORE REPLACED SEVERAL WEEKS AGO AFTER GOT TRUCK OUT OF SHOP AIR BAGS LIGHT ON HORN WON T BLOW AND CRUISE WON T WORK.MECHANIC SAID CLOCK SPRING WAS BAD,I DON T THINK SO NEVER HAD A SECOND S PROBLEM BEFORE ,TRUCK 10 YEARS OLD,AIR BAG LIGHT HAS NEVER NEVER EVEN BLINK BEFORE,HAD HEATER CORE REPLACED CRUISE ALWAYS WORKED AND HORN ALWAYS BLEW.ANY REPLYS GREATLY APPRECIATED

All signs point to clockspring. Question is, is the light wasn't on and the horn worked before the dash was removed,is the connector at the base of the steering column plugged in? I'm not sure what year your truck is, but the later model ones have to have the instrument panel removed to install a heater core. Have you tech check that to be sure. I believe it is a 4 wire connector, just to the underside of the dash.
