Lost Ignition Key

Houston! I have a problem, Ignition key is lost, Spare too!

Q. Can a duplicate key be made without pulling ignition switch? VIN #'s, the trick here is the ignition key is also the door key, so if I put in a new switch, then theres still the problem of the door locks. Car. is a 2000 escort,SE nothing special

Most times M/Y's2000 and forward, the key can be cut by your local dealer by the vehicle VINfrom 'as built' data...

$320. for Extra Keys ????

NEVER use Walnut Creek FORD in Ca. These people are the worst! Crimnals at best. Sept 18, Quote, "About $60 for the Key fob", Maxine Taylor was RUDE and KNEW Nothing. INV. # 639491 cost $320 for a spare set of keys.
