Hi all, I'm a newbie here. I've been on the Ford truck enthusiasts for my 2003 Ranger. I also have a 1998 Escort wagon. I found a couple pinhole leaks in my transmission pan so replaced it. I put in the fluid and started it up and put it in gear but moved off very slowly then finally began to move normally. I have no problems in Low or Drive but in Overdrive I keep getting this hesitation as if it is missing 1st gear? Does anyone have any idea what might be happening?
