Exclamation Zx2 Motor replaced!!! but....

Ok so I have gotten the motor replaced finalllly!!!! incase you havent read my past post let me bring you to speed, I pretty much replaced everything on my car and the head gasket on the old motor took it all out lol, so I got another motor for my car finally got it in...

Now to my question no shops can seem to awnser for this car, I have a slight whistling noise kinda like a toy train's smoke stack or horn just more amplified or like if u blow onto the top of a old jug and you hear that whistling noise? just on the higher pitch end? it will continue for about 2-3 seconds after I shut the car off, also Is it normal to have a slight pressure in the valve cover while operating? when I cut the engine and give it about 1-5 seconds and I open the oil cap there is no pressure but with the motor operating there is some pressure sounds like ur opening a 20oz bottle of pop / soda, I checked the vacuum leading out of the valve cover and its sucking just fine and I replaced the pvc and blew thru all the lines and they appear to be clear, even that little black circle thing by my valve cover that i have no idea of what its called its round and about 2 inches in diamter and about 2.4 inches deep comes right off the valve cover, anyways i kno im rambling of sorts but anyone got any ideas on these? also I dont hear this whistle the whole time just more often then not I figure maybe its something in the motor as it sat for like 2 years lol but it idle's great better then a new car, it doesnt spit or sputter it wants to go matter of fact lol.

The whistling noise may be a vacuum leak.

I would probably say that it is a vacum leak. here is a trick try this. start the engine let it idle. take some wd40 or injector cleaner in a can. lightly spray each vacum line, and hose. if the idle increases then you have a vacum leak, and can now follow it to the source. if that's the case you might be able to just cut off the bad part. a car that sits for months, and year, wears terrible on the engine. dry rot, and structer to the hoses becomes weak they can collapse or tear, even a pin whole small as a needle can do this good luck my friend

Default solved

Problem solved. Here is what it was. I was using the same vacuum lines from the old motor, which could have really screwed me cause I took the line off the valve cover and followed it one by one but while doing this i noticed none of them was bad they was all clogged with crap from where the old head gasket has forced ooze / goo into them. causing the whistle. My friend said it might of been a piston ring but this car runs better now then a new car off the lot. it just has that whistle. I replaced the pcv valve as well and all is well
