Found this dangling under the hood(passenger side). Does anyone know what it is and where i can plug it back into? Thanks!

2003 4.6L Eddie Bauer Expedition.

 

Many times vehicles are built with wiring for certain accessories. Can you see just where the other end of that cable goes? If the vehicle is performing well and it has no problems that cable plug just may not be used.

 

Yeh, I can't tell if it is some sort of vacuum or electrical connect? from the pict you can see it travels through the firewall to passenger side glovebox area. I looked everywhere under the hood to see where it might fit. My latest pict shows where it might fit? I don't know but it fits well?

It looks like you got it right.
I couldn't help noticing that uppermost hose in the pix. It looks like it is showing signs of heat and age. You might want to check it , since it appears all cracked .
It could only be a foam cover over another hose.
