Just got 22s for my Eddie Bauer, 2WD. I wanted to lower it a couple of inches, but there's a problem. I called DJM Suspensions and they told me that because of the control arm on the rear suspension, you can't just simply replace the coils to lower it, even just the 2" that I'm going for. He says it throws all of the geometry off and it is not able to be adjusted out. He also said a proper lowering would be very costly. Thing is, I also called Belltech and Eibach and both said there are no problems with their kits, which consist of front and rear springs to lower about 2" front and rear. Anyone here have the real 411 on this? I'm really confused. All of the mags I've read on lowered, custom Expedtions, never mention anything about problems.
