My 1999 Ford expedition has an issue with the speedometer, when driving around 30 miles or so, the needle bounces up and down making the vehicle downshift to a lower gear. Went to Ford and they gave me a VSS vehicle Speed Sensor but I have not been able to find where it goes. I have the drawing from the dealer and my vehicle does not match with it.
Any ideas where that sensor goes? I am at a complete loss on this issue.
There is a lot of notes in the internet that state that goes in the rear axle but that is the ABS sensor which I changed just for the heck hoping that it will fix the problem but not.
