Replacing some worn parts - got new right strut assembly and upper control arm/ball joint in. Lower, cant get the knuckle disconnected from the ball joint end.

This model is different from most 03 Fords I've seen in pics and videos, seems to be much more heavy duty suspension - no cotter pins or notched nuts on the joints.

I've beaten the crap out of this knuckle trying to get it off. Any ideas appreciated.

 

Have you tried the tie rod / ball joint removal tool?
