I have a 2003 ford expedition 5.4 v8 4x4. I was told some navigator models parts match and other year expedition replacement parts will match.
I am older, living on social security and want to try to keep my expedition running til I quit running. no sense on buying a new vehicle for just a few years. I will milk this one. new replacement parts are outrageous as you know. someone told me that somewhere there was a chart or something that showed what junked vehicles I might be able to get parts that match. anyone out there that can lede me on my search for such a thing.

 

I am not aware of any particular chart, but some salvage /junk yards have access to some of the info you seek. Many times they will be able to tell you which parts will fit/work for particular models since it is their business to know or get that info.

 

Thanks for the info. I was told that with my vin number and another vehicle vin number they could tell you if parts were interchangeable, navigator or expedition. I was hoping to buy a used one that matched mine for spare parts.
