My fan motor seems to blow stronger when the circulator button is pressed. Does that mean my outside air intake may be partially plugged? Does anyone know where the outside air intake is located so I can verify? I don't believe my Expy has a cabin filter. Thx

 

that is normal operation for all hvac systems. It is due to air routing through the hvac box when the recir door closes off the outside air duct. if the cabin filter was or intake ducting was plugged it would restrict air flow all the time.


the normal replacement schedule for a cabin filter is once a year.
