I Have a 1999 Expedition with the same problem. I purchased a shop manual but can't seem to figure out the problem. Where did you find instrtuctions on-line. Perhaps by comparing them with the shop manual I can figure this thing out. It can't be anything too serious. The rear heater blown great, but the front only blows cold air. You can't even turn the front off, because if you do the rear won't work and then you'll be without anything. Older trucks were much easier to work on I'm afraid.
