Default Drivers Seat, 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition

Is it possible to move the track back to provide more room for the driver. If possible how difficult is it??

Thanks for any help on this subject.

I wouldn't suggest attempting it. The locations where the track is bolted on the pan are reinforced. If you re attached them in a different location you'd likely be putting yourself at serious risk of worse injury in an accident if the seat comes off. Also, over time, your bolts would begin to fatigue the metal of the pan. Another thing to consider is that by moving the seat back, you'll be stretching wire harnesses for the power seats, seatbelt pre-tensioner and the side airbags. I'd bet theres 100 other reasons not to do it that I can't think of right now; I've only been awake 15 minutes.

In the long run, that would cause alot more damage than any benefits.
