fuel economy

RE: fuel economy
Start with the basics: clean air and fuel filters, good tire pressure, clean oil/fluids, igntion stuff, etc. Basically make sure it is runnig as best it can. Then focus on your driving habits, take it as easy as possible with the gas pedal, and try to keep your speed down on the interstate, maintain a constant speed in all drivng situations whenever possible. A side note, dont ride with your AC on and your widows down at the same time, pick one or the other. Avoid excessive ideling and tyr to eliminate back tracking and making short trips to the store at random, try to combine everything.
Stuff like air intakes and exhaust work can help improve MPG, granted your not hitting the gas more to hear/feel your new found sound/power. It will definatily feel less labored while accelerating with an airintake and Flowmaster.
