gas gauge
Hi all,
Anyone had any problems with the gas gauge not reading correctly on a 2007 Expedition EL Limited.
I fill the tank, fully, and somewhere between 4 and 40 miles the gauge drops to just above the 3/4 mark. It
seems to read more accurately for 100 miles for so and after drops again after the 1/2 mark, approx. 150 miles
on the tank of gas. From there it reads erratically. Usually showing empty with about 325 miles on the tank
of gas. I'll fill and it takes about 22 gallons to fill. Remember it's a 33 gallon tank.
The fuel gauge tank unit was replaced, no luck. The cluster assembly unit replaced, no change. The sender
replaced, still no fix.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for listening.
Maureen
