On my 08 I've been dealing with a bad idle at lights and stop lights. It has been discovered that I have a bad "intake Manifold runner control"

Now I know the control can be bypassed, but can the runner valves be removed? So this control doesnt cause my issue. What issues can I run into if the valves are removed?

only problem is my issue is intermittent as theres days it acts up and days that ot doesnt.
