so many problems....
I have a 2003 expedition xlt. we recently started having a ton of issues with it and we don't know what to do. First the airbag light came on and stays on, we checked all the sensors and everything looks fine. When it starts up the code blinks a 49.
Secondly the wheel hub was going bad so my husband fixed it no problems, except after he did, the break pedal started shaking. It stopped after a while but then started up again when we put new tires on. Now the abs light comes on and stays on causing the breaks to work fine, no shaking. if the light goes out, the shake comes back. We have had all new brakes installed, new rotors and new calipers and still having all these problems with the brakes/abs. Any suggestions? We are tired of dropping money into it and not having the issues fixed. Thanks!!

I believe the code 49 stands for, The seat track position switch circuit has a short to ground.
Check if there is something jammed under the seat placing pressure against wires otherwise it will require further looking into .

If you don't mind the air bag light on then leave it. Otherwise you can bring it to a ford dealer for $100 find out exactly what is wrong.
You're 2nd issue seems like alot of money used on you're part for a non resolved issue.
Sounds like an abs issue which also can be scanned for codes with a high end scanner. So another $100 from a dealer.
If you want to spend $200 at a ford dealer to give you an outcome of your problems its not a bad investment.
Otherwise it does sound to be an abs issues either a wheel speed sensor or wiring.
