Do you mean how to turn off the wifi?
If so there is a option under settings, granted you would no longer get automoatic sync updates.

Thanks for your reply, but its not the SYnc being turned off. I believe they have some kind of a modem which is either wifi or bluetooth installed, and even though everything is turned off, it still submits data to Ford. I believe its invasion of privacy and i need to find out how this modem can be turned off.

If you notice I did not say to turn sync off, I said to turn off the wifi with the warning that this will take away the capacity for auto sync updates to occur.

You did not specify what year or trim level you have so this could be wrong based on your vehicle. There is a telematic control module(TCU) that has a wifi capabilities, please note that the APIM also has wifi capabilities but I do not believe it has the same capabilities as the TCU. In theory you could disconnect the TCU and that may get rid of what you are afraid of but I do not know what type of faults may occur with it unplugged.
If you remove the center console the module will be under it. Here is a picture of the module with the center console removed.

Hi Scott,
I really appreciate your replies.
So the vehicle is a 2020 Expedition Max Limited.
Does that change anything?
Thanks again

No the TCU should be under the center console.
