Default Newbie questions

Hi all,

I probably won't go for it, but it popped up in a search and I'm a vehicle fanatic, so I thought I'd do some more investigation. I still have a few questions:

1. Anyone have interior pics of the 2007/2008 with the bench seat?
2. What's the 4wd system like? Is it full time? Can it be used in the dry?
3. Is the 3rd row optional?
4. I'm interested in an XLT with the front bench. How could I locate one to test drive in my area? (19087)
5. Anyone have more details on the tire options? What are the brand/models available?
6. Any must-have options/accessories y'all recommend?
7. I usually lease, but there seems not to be a lease program for the Expedition. I'm guessing because resale value is horrifically bad. Other than keeping the vehicle more than 5 years, which I don't intend to do, is this vehicle a reasonable purchase to make for someone tight on money due to a new baby? (Not worried about fuel economy because I do very few miles/year)

We don't need a vehicle this big, but we like the idea of either my wife or the baby sitting directly next to me, or in the pulled-forward center 2nd row seat. The safety of a vehicle of this weight is also appealing. However, I generally drive sports cars and am not ready for a 5+ year commitment to a vehicle I may hate after a couple years.

Thanks in advance for your helpful replies!

I am looking for answers of your questions too. Would appreciate if someone can tell me available models and brands available right now?
