Got lucky! I found the petcock/radiator drain on my 2001 Expedition.
It is located directly below the upper radiatorhose at the bottom of the radiator. The petcock is a six-sided nylon nut. The easiest access is from under the hood and you will need a 19mm open end wrench toopen the petcock.
