04 explorer many many codes
Have a 2004 explorer that was headed to the smasher by a guy so I grabbed it for 140 dollars for another explorer i have. Long story short it runs and drives and has 156k miles and has all gears, hesitates severely and when I ran the codes I have 13 codes! I was going to use it for parts but this explorer is in damn nice shape. A list of codes as follows.
P0743,P0755,P0000 - listed 4 times, P0743, P0750, P0755, P0760, P0962, P0966, P0970
Could this actually be a bad transmission or am I looking at an electrical issue? Would hate to part it before I actually know. Thanks everyone!!

I don't believe there is a mechanical problem with the trans.
The codes seem to indicate pressure problems in several areas.
What we usually look for is what is common to all those areas.
One thing that is common to those is electrical grounds which could be something simple like a missing or broken ground wire. Also corrosion in anyone of the plugs going to the trans.
You might consider doing a very thorough visual inspection for corrosion or broken ground wires. Sometimes a tip off can involve a completely unrelated function/system which if a ground is missing, the trans will use any path it can and things don't work correctly and other functions can operate when they are not supposed to.
There is also the possibility of a wiring problem within the trans itself.
