i have a 1998 ford explorer. i have a concern when i turn my steering wheel left when i drive over say for instance a curb i hear a horrible crunching noise,but it only happens when im backing off off a curb like the shock is going bad slowly.if anybody would have any information on this please do tell me,it has really become a concern for me.

[sm=welcomesign.gif]I hope the noise is not your fender getting crunched.[hr]It could be a shock going bad.[hr]It could also be the radius arm bushing's but you would feel the noise also on the floor board.

have your front in looked at go to a service place that have the right set up to do front end work
