Default 1999 Explorer Keyless Entry/Alarm Remote

So, my girlfriend has a 1999 Explorer and her keyless entry remote is broken...the Unlock button is missing and the Lock button no longer works. The Alarm button works, however. So, we can't lock/unlock the truck with the remote.

We have a spare one, but I'm trying to find information on properly programming the spare remote. Thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

Sitting in the driver's seat, door closed, cycle the ignition key eight times from off to on, stopping on "on". The door locks should cycle, then hit a button on the remote you want to program. [sm=mail.gif]
