I have a 2000 explorer xlt with the 4.0 sohc that I just bought. I noticed that at idle (5-600 rpm's) the motor is vibrating the whole vehicle. Not really rough but it's noticeable and something isn't right. Also my power steering acts up when I'm turning. It's only at slow speeds but when I turn the steering wheel when leaving the yard or sharp turning, it kind of jumps like the pump is skipping or something. Please help!

 

Taking things one at a time, suspect (if vehicle has 4WD) that the front wheel hubs are in the locked position. Let us know if it is 4wheel drive.
