Default 2004 eXpLoReR....HELP

Hello.... I am new to this forum. I registered because i have issues with my girlfriends 2004 explorer. The check engine light is on. I put on an OBD-II scanner and the code that comes back is.... "Idle low rpm"....It idles real low and sometime wont stay running.....does anyone know what to do to fix this?????

Sounds like you might have problems with the IAC motor. "Idle Air Control". It could be dirty, causing the idle to be too low. You could have problems with the Mass Air Meter, which measures air flow into the motor, it would cause a variety of problems. You could have a vacuum leak, unmetered air, causing either high or low idle speed and possible hesitation.
