I've been in the process of replacing the front driver side wheel bearing in my 06 Explorer XLT(not the sport track edition) and I was wondering if anyone here has successfully replaced the taper bearing inside the spindle instead of having to replace the entire spindle itself? If so, could you please shed a light on the process for me before I tear my spindle apart? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated 🙏

 

You are better off getting a replacement hub assy already set to factory specs, not worth the gamble if you don't have the proper tools to do it.
