It has about 133k on it. It's actually my son's girlfriend's car. I scanned it for codes yesterday, then someone came and was going to take it to a garage about 50 miles from my house, they didn't end up taking it because they didn't feel good about driving it. I haven't driven it myself because I was told that they were taking it to a mechanic. From what they told me, it felt like it was popping into neutral. i have been googling and it seems that these vehicles have been having solenoid problems.

Transmission code. Pressure Control Solenoid Malfunction. Replace the Solenoid Module, probably the 5R55S transmission? Do you experience transmission problems? imp

It went to a general repair shop last week who we have known for many years, and he recommended a transmission shop. he replaced a servo per a TSB. It still has the P0745, and P0773, false gear ratio codes, and no 3rd gear. He said he believes that the solenoids are working, because he could hear them clicking. He said because transmissions are not his specialty, he would recommend having him replace it, or having a transmission shop look at it for further diagnosis.
