Unhappy 2008 ford explorer doesn't give ignition after Super Storm Sandy

My 2008 ford explorer doesn't give ignition after super storm sandy in bayonne NJ. What could be affected and how much will it cost me to fix it? Please help

Sadly it could be everything depending on how deeply your car was submerged in the water. Best thing to do would be let the insurance company total it and take whatever they give you..

If the car was in contact with any salt water, the wiring that is made with copper will eventually turn into powder. The above advice offered does seem like the best consideration , and the insurance companies know this.
