Default 2013 Ford Explorer with blown engine

Engine just blew on my 2013 Ford Explorer XLT with 140,000 miles. Service manager said there were 2 holes in the engine block. I have owned the vehicle since it was new and put every mile on it. Routine maintenance including oil changes performed at the dealership. The vehicle actually had an oil change the day before. I have owned 5 Explorers in my lifetime. Never expected this to happen. Very disappointed .

Sounds like a connecting rod(s) snapped in two.Was the engine properly filled with oil from the dealership. Something smells fishy to me. You might want to have an independent garage take a look at it.
