2014 Explorer P0299 Turbocharger A Underboost condition
Can anyone tell me which side is the A turbo? Wanting to troubleshoot but would love to save some time and troubleshoot the correct side of the car.
its a 2014 Ford Explorer 3.5 Sport Twin Turbo. Definitely a loss in power on it!

If you look at the turbo that is closest to the exhaust manifold, that should be the A turbo.
YOU should be looking for any kind of air leaks from the compressor side of the turbo., through the intercooler and finally into the intake manifold.
Also look at the inside (Compressor section) for any gummed up parts. If the wastegate is staying open when it should be closed, you will lose boost pressure
