I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Explorer Sport...upon starting off it seems to hesitate as if its ready to shut down but pressing it harder..it takes off. It will hesitates several times while accelerating then finally kicking in.. As I know nothing about engines..my description is not the best..sorry. It does it about 70% of the time upon taking off.

Also, has anyone noticed the loud vibration noise it produces while driving on certain roads..is this due to the sport suspension ?

 

I am having the same issue with my 2017 explorer sport. Have you had any luck getting the issue resolved? I have had the car in the shop 5 times now to get this issue fixed and they haven't been able to fix it yet and now they are claiming that it is a normal characteristic of the car. I believe they have no idea what the problem is and aren't putting in any effort to fix it. It feels like they ran out of ideas and are giving up on it.

If you have taken it in, please let me know what they have told you because I would love to see if anyone else has had luck!
