Default 2020 Explorer Drive Mode Problems

My new 2020 4WD Explorer Limited is having drive more problems. When I first start up I can make a selection but if I try to change it again it does not give me any options. Some times it will show a warning saying "the system is disabled".
My explorer is back in for the second time and they still don't have it fixed. Like going to the doctor, if the first cure does not work lets try another shot! Not good when one pays cash for a Ford and it sits in there shop. Hope this is not what we use to call a Lemon
Is anyone else having similar problems?

Your frustration is understandable.,however, new vehicles can come with some new problems that haven't been seen before and it can take a little time to chase down the cause .It could be something simple or possibly a little more complex. Service departments don't enjoy repeat problems any more than the customer. I'm pretty sure they are trying to get your vehicle repaired and out of the shop just as much as you would want also.

I have a 2020 Platinum and for the past month I have no radio, no sound, and no GPS. Service Dept says it's a failed ACM and they are on back-order. Regarding your issue, I'm not having any problem with the drive modes. Good luck.

Sorry you are having problems with your new Explorer.
I finally got mine repaired and all seems ok now. It took two attempts but they finally replace the ATCM.
I am enjoying driving and getting to know my Explorer.
Best of luck getting yours repaired.
