Default 98 Explorer crankshaft position sensor

I have a 98 explorer xlt, with the 5.0 engine,I recently bought it and the engine light was on,I hooked my OBD reader up and the code was P0340,crankshaft position sensor, had anyone changed this and can give me the steps to change it or have any videos on how to change it. ...ty

You might want to recheck the fault code for your particular vehicle , it might be for the cam position sensor that is located on the top back of the engine where a distributor used to be.
You might also type in, 98 ford explorer cam position sensor replacement.
Shows videos and procedure.

The code said crankshaft/camshaft sensor, I was watching how to test the crankshaft and they said your vehicle would not start if crankshaft sensor was bad but mine still running,I will check the camshaft sensor,thank you
