Default 99 Explorer sport problem

The wifes got a 99 Explorer sport with 138,800 miles on it. It has started cutting out when it's cold. It usually lasts about 4 or 5 miles doing this. It's like you cut the engine off and turn the key on real fast, no back fire. As it gets warm (I guess) it quits this. No check engine light on, to have checked at parts house. Any suggestions?

Default RE: 99 Explorer sport problem

check for the head gasket recall on that year.
Can be a small leak that seals when warm.
